Cobra Electronics Displays its Two-Way Radio Lineup at International CES
Cobra Electronics Corporation, a company in the designing and marketing of automotive, mobile and consumer electronics has chosen the 2012 International CES (News - Alert) show in Las Vegas, Nevada to showcase CXT135 and the CXT235, new members of its two-way radios series. The two-way radio series have been designed with businesses and professionals in mind. The two-way radio series is available with 22 channels and offers extended range capability of up to 25 miles and works best in storms and emergencies.
According to press release, the entire 2012 family of two-way radio/GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) products, slated for availability in March 2012, will be on display throughout the duration of 2012 International CES in Booth #9839 of the Central Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The company will be displaying CXT135 and the CXT235, the prominent members of its two-way radio product family for 2012. These are affordable radios and offer advanced NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) and All Hazards Alert features. These features were available on expensive high-end radio models.
The new NWR feature provides listening to the NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting continuous weather information directly from the nearest National Weather Service office.
Available with the price tag (News - Alert) of $49.95, CXT135 includes advanced NOAA Weather Radio capabilities, making it the most economical weather radio on the market today. The powerful CXT235 incorporates all the features of the CXT135, plus an extended range of up to 20 miles. It also features NOAA All Hazards Alerts providing loud audible alerting in the event of a weather alert or other emergency.
The 2012 lineup also includes the CXT425, CXR725, CXR825 and CXR925 model. These models show maximum performance and range of up to 35 miles, advanced NOAA Weather and Emergency radio capabilities, rechargeable high-performance LiON batteries, desktop chargers, and much more.
In other company news, TMCnet reported that Cobra Electronics Corporation has announced its plans to roll out the new Cobra Tag G5 at the 2012 International CES.
