Sports Legends, TV Personalities and Entertainers at CES
The 2011 International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, will take place during Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas. Television personalities, sports icons, award winning-actors and government officials will be going to the 2011 International CES (News - Alert) to showcase and discuss the innovative products and technologies shaping consumer technology.
Among the notable names includes members of Full Force, R&B/Pop music performers, writers and producers who have written and produced for celebrities like Rihanna, Lisa Lisa, James Brown, Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears, who will be available at the Gulpfish booth (#26420, South Hall) every day of the show at 2 p.m.
Bow-Legged Lou, Paul Anthony and B-Fine will engage CES attendees with a vocal talent search, performance and autograph session.
Famous rapper 50 Cent will be hosting a press conference with Sleek Audio at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6 in S221, South Hall Connector of the LVCC. 50 Cent will also be signing autographs from 1:30-2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6 and from 1-2 p.m again on Friday, Jan. 7, in the Sleek Audio booth (#20352, South Hall).
Sleek Audio is a personal audio company dedicated to advancing mobile audio through combining hearing aid science with loudspeaker technology.
Emmy Award-winning host of CNN’s highest rated program, Larry King who is dubbed “the most remarkable talk-show host on TV ever” by TV Guide, will also be attending the 2011 International CES.
Jeff Probst, the Emmy Award-winning host of the hit reality TV show Survivor will also be walking the show floor. Jeff also won the inaugural Emmy for “Best Reality Show Host” in 2008 and again 2009.
Award-winning actor and celebrity Aiden Turner will be at CES representing Ty, a cloud- and Bluetooth-enabled disc that attaches to personal possessions and prevents the loss of the items the user values most. Aiden was part of All My Children for seven years and also competed on Dancing With the Stars. The actor will be in the Ty booth (#35750, South Hall) for a special event and autograph signing from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6.
The Consumer Electronics Association (News - Alert) (CEA) is the number one trade association promoting growth in the $170 billion U.S. consumer electronics industry. Currently, over 2,000 companies are CEA members, which include legislative advocacy, market research, technical training and education, industry promotion, standards development and the fostering of business and strategic relationships.
