“We are pleased to have quickly completed the Cedar Point acquisition and are now focused on executing our integration plan as we have done so successfully with our past strategic acquisitions,” said Charlie Vogt (News - Alert), chief executive officer of Genband, in a statement. “We look forward to supporting the needs of the Cedar Point customer base, ensuring continuity while also providing a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for the future.”

Genband's solutions are designed to enable cable operators to offer scalable and competitive multimedia services to both residential and enterprise customers. Genband's portfolio includes Applications, Call Control, Media Gateways, Traffic/Policy Management and Session Border Controllers.

Following the take over of Cedar Point, Genband will gain additional solutions supporting residential and business services.
