IPI Resells i2Telecom�s VoiceStick

Provider of VoIP services i2Telecom International, Inc. announced a partnership with Internet Phones International, LLC (IPI) in order for IPI resell under its own private label the i2Telecom’s VoiceStick under the brand name RedDotHot. The reseller agreement was negotiated under i2Telecom's new Virtual VoIP Network Enabler (VVNE) program, which allows companies to private label and resell i2Telecom's products and services without having to invest in their own VoIP infrastructure. Under the terms of the agreement, IPI agreed to initially order 5,000 VoiceStick devices to be shipped within the next 30 days.

"We look forward to working with IPI, whose current customers include a number of large international organizations with several million members," commented Paul Arena, chief executive officer of i2Telecom International, Inc. "We are especially pleased with the receptivity to our new VVNE program, which enables resellers to private label the VoiceStick and customize their rate plans."

Internet Phones International provides VoIP, USB and Cable Modem telephones and related system management equipment to multi-system cable operators and private cable operators in Canada and the United States. IPI has recently expanded its customer base in order to include the United States, Canada, Mexico and seven other countries. The company just entered into a joint venture with Ohio-based iSupportISP, LLC, and California-based BetterWay.com to provide VoIP services to the 14 million union members of UUMBA, the benefits arm of AFL-CIO, under the brand name RedDotHot.com.

With RedDotHot, IPI is able to provide residential and business customers with two different calling plans. Residential customers can choose from the company’s HomeEasy plan—which includes unlimited free member to member and fax within the U.S. and Canada for $2.95 monthly, billed quarterly; and the HomeLimitless—which includes unlimited calls and fax within the U.S. and Canada for $23.95 monthly. For business customers, the company offers a BizEasy—which includes unlimited free member to member and fax within the U.S. and Canada for $5.95 monthly for the first line and $2.95 monthly per additional line; and the BizLimitless—which includes unlimited calls and fax within the U.S. and Canada for$45.95 monthly.

The services’ catch however, lies on the super expensive necessary equipment fees. Residential customers have the ability to choose between the vStick for $29.95, the vFon for $49.95, and the vHomeConnect for $89.95. Business customers have three choices as well—the vBizFon for $49.95, the vBizConnect $89.95, and the vBizManager for an undisclosed amount.
