DataLogic’s IPN Releases VoIP Server

BY JOHANNE TORRES

The company released the S1000 server looking to target VoIP solution providers. With S1000, DataLogic is bundling in necessary billing software and hardware to support in-network calls as well as to interface with any long distance carrier of choice for PSTN calls. The standard configuration will support up to 50,000 subscribers and is fully scalable to support a larger customer base. The S1000 can be deployed anywhere, and also be hosted and maintained by IPN Communications in its Los Angeles, CA location for a fee.

"We introduced this product to meet our customers' demands to operate their own VoIP network. This product allows our clients worldwide to begin offering IP telephony services in as little as two weeks. The S1000 received warm responses at the recent IP Telephony show in Los Angeles. We have received several orders and believe that it will be very popular with long distance carriers, wholesalers, ISP's or anyone who wishes to provide competitive telephony services worldwide," commented Michael Wu, IPN's CEO.

IPN Communications, Inc. product suite includes USB and Ethernet based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) (define - news - alert) phones, IP Phone adapters, videophones, and servers that support in-network VoIP calling and VoIP-to-public-switch telephone networks (PSTN).
