VoIPMDU Enhances VoIP Bundles

BY JOHANNE TORRES

Vancouver-Canada based VoIPMDU.COM (news alert - quote) just struck a distribution deal with UnityVoice Inc., and Victory Capital Holdings Corp. (quote). The VoIP Bundles provider will benefit from this new agreement by being able to market its products.

The company recently announced its IP-based calling service called VoIP Bundles, which allows subscribers to talk to other members free of charge; use 1000 minutes to call North America; and call internationally for up to 70 percent less than regular telephone long distance plans. The monthly plan also includes regular Voice over IP (VoIP) (define - news - alert - tutorial) calling plan features like call waiting, caller ID with name, enhanced voice mail, call forwarding, conference calling for up to three parties, and call transferring.

"This is the most comprehensive VoIP package offering I've seen in the industry," stated Richard Kipping, Chairman and CEO of VoIPMDU.COM. "Not only does this package establish us as a leader in VoIP technology packaging, it improves our bottom line per subscriber substantially," he added.

VoIPMDU.COMs new agreement with UnityVoice will upgrade the companys VoIP Bundles service by bumping up its features to 32. The new VoIP package will now include a Follow Me Line Call Transfer to follows subscribers at home, office or their cell phones and by announcing the name of the caller, as well as the assignment of a private toll-free 800 number that is never busy and requires no activation/set-up fee and no extra equipment. The service also includes routing of calls to subscribers' other numbers or their voice mail messages. This package will be offered to VoIP Bundles users and UnityVoice's existing subscribers online through the company's Web site

Harold Gregg, CEO of Victory Capital Holdings Corp., the management arm of UnityVoice stated, "We're excited to bring VoIPMDU.COM on as a distribution partner due to our belief in their vision and innovative marketing methods within the exploding VoIP technology industry. Bringing on partners such as VoIPMDU.COM's caliber further affirms our business plan and overall growth model."

This agreement follows VoIPMDU.COM's recent deal with loyalty program currency exchange provider, Points International Ltd. VoIPMDU.COM plans to market its VoIP telephony packages ranging in price from $ 14.95 CAD per month to $ 39.95 CAD per month in six month packages; a prepaid telephone card and long distance discount bundles for international calling via Points Internationals points phone Web site launched this month.

Points also has partnerships with British Airways, Starbucks, Air Canada (Aeroplan), American Airlines, eBay (Anything Points), Cathay Pacific, Esso, Marriott International, U.S. Airways, Lufthansa, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Delta Airlines, J.C. Penney, Frontier Airlines, S&H GreenPoints, and ACCENT Training and Quantum Loyalty Solutions.
