Who are we? Why are we here?

Welcome to tmclabs.com, the online home of TMC Labs. Answering the questions of "who are we" and "why are we here" is easy: we are an experienced staff of engineers who know how to effectively communicate, and it is our job to acquire, install, evaluate and relay to our readers the advantages and pitfalls of the latest hardware and software for several high-tech markets.

TMC Labs began our mission in early 1996 as CTI Labs, coinciding with the debut of CTI magazine. In the beginning, our publishers defined our mission thus: "To conduct unbiased product reviews in the style of the best computer magazines, but focused on customer-facing products and solutions, such as call center technologies and CRM."

Since then, TMC Labs' mission has evolved to include VoIP technologies like VoIP gateways, softswitches, and QoS, as well as enhanced services that service providers can offer their customers. With the addition of product reviews for several other TMC publications, including Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine, Internet Telephony, and TMC's online magazines BiometriTech and Planet PDA, we changed to a more fitting name: TMC Labs.

We at TMC Labs have built a solid reputation in the industry, and we pledge to continue providing the most complete, most objective, and most definitive product reviews in the trade.
