The Alltel Hue by Samsung (News - Alert) is now exclusively available at shopalltel.com and Alltel Wireless retail locations.




The mobile phone boasts several features including Alltel's patent-pending Celltop technology, an MP3 player with Jump Music capabilities, a 1.3 megapixel camera with video, and a choice of colorful, interchangeable faceplates.

Beginning today through Sept. 13, 2007, customers purchasing the phone will receive the Alltel Snap flip-phone free, a $20 mail-in-rebate with a two-year service agreement.

Customers also will receive a "Go!Scratch!Win!" game card giving them a chance to win several prizes from Samsung and Alltel Wireless including Samsung large screen LCD TVs, sports camcorders, DVD recorders, MP3 players, or a free Alltel ringtone.

“The Alltel Hue is an affordable phone that provides our customers with an impressive combination of fashion and function,” said Wade McGill, senior vice president of wireless product management for Alltel Wireless in a statement to the press.

McGill believes the phone’s versatility and colorful interchangeable faceplates let their customers tailor their phone to their unique personality.

Available for $39.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with a two-year service agreement, the Alltel Hue also keeps customers connected through IM, picture, and video messaging. Since the phone is Celltop ready, users can customize their phone with the information most important to them.

Peter Skarzynsk, senior vice president of Samsung Telecommunications America points out that Alltel Hue is not only a stylish device, but it also delivers a popular feature-set that their consumers have come to expect.

Customers who buy the phone and are on a qualifying calling plan can join "My Circle." This exclusive Alltel's feature allows customers to choose who they call for free - any 10 numbers, any network.

Additionally, Alltel Wireless offers Anytime Plan Changes. These offer customers the flexibility to change their calling plans at any time, without extending their current contract.

Alltel is owner and operator of a large wireless network and has 12 million wireless customers.
