Cingular Wireless has designed three wireless solutions for businesses with field service operations. Customers can deploy the solutions via a simple wireless download to Cingular (News - Alert)-powered devices.



 
 
With the three new solutions, Cingular aims to make it easier for companies with field service workers. The solutions can be a viable alternative to various industries such as commercial and residential construction, HVAC, landscaping, facilities and property management, service and equipment repair, education and high-tech
 
Cingular Work Order Manager, one of the solutions, is capable of replacing technician's clipboard and paper-based work orders with electronic forms that can be updated in real time on wireless handhelds. The solution also helps companies manage the service delivery process and improve productivity while eliminating paperwork normally done in the field.
 
With Cingular Service Manager, companies can automate all their mobile service operations from the initial service request through invoicing. The solution features scheduled and preventative maintenance as well. The Cingular Professional Service Manager comes with some useful features such as wireless inventory, contract, project and document management.
