Ensim Demos Solution for Automating IT Processes![]() By Shireen Dee TMCnet Contributing Editor Ensim (News - Alert) Corporation, a supplier of user provisioning and access control solutions, recently announced that it will be demoing one of its least product: Unify Enterprise, a platform designed to help companies automate common information technology (IT) processes.
Ensim specializes in solutions for deploying integrated solutions and speeding up related processes. The company’s clients are enterprises and service providers around the world that need ways to securely automate IT management processes and simplify complex environments. Unify Enterprise Edition, Version 2.5, addresses several challenges faced by IT organizations. This includes password management, provisioning, auditing, role management, compliance of Active Directory servers, and management of Exchange and mobility solutions via a protected Web-based portal.
The latest edition of this solution comes equipped fine grain role delegation, customizable provisioning policies, improved alert notification capabilities, simplified policy-based provisioning, change and audit logs, among other features. It also supports multiple domain controllers.
Unify Enterprise now regulates provisioning and access management of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, and works with mobile solutions such as the BlackBerry (News - Alert) and Windows Mobile.
Ensim’s new platform will be available as a complete suite or even as individual tools. The application is expected to take less than an hour to install. It also functions as a turnkey solution, enabling IT provisioning policies to be centrally implemented via a Web-based user interface. It can be integrated with a configurable self-service portal and will work to remove any downtime that is created as a result of misconfiguration.
