CA Launches Partner Program to Enhance Internet Security

CA ( News - Alert), an IT management software company, today announced the launch of a channel partner program, “CA Partner Program for Internet Security,” dedicated to its global Internet Security partners.
The partner program focuses on CA’s anti-malware product portfolio that offers protection against multitudes of Internet threats including virus, spam and spyware, according to the company.
CA says its Partner Program enables value-added resellers, retailers and technology partners to market and sell CA’s anti-malware products to businesses and homebound customers.
Different features of the CA Partner Program are available at an online partner portal. They include programs such as online sales training and certification, creative asset marketing library, on-demand live product demonstrations, automated sales-incentive program, around-the-clock support, and access to online renewals, company officials say.
“As a result of listening to our partners across the globe we are now delivering an Internet Security Partner Program that will benefit our Internet Security partners and their customers,” said George Kafkarkou, a senior vice president and general manager at CA.
The partner program is offered in different models – platinum, gold, silver, and transacting partners.
CA appoints Internet security partner specialists to assist silver and transacting partners of the partner program for developing their businesses. Gold and platinum partners will see a number of additional benefits including financial incentives from CA’s Internet Security Business Unit, company officials say.
Having an exposure to Internet security market for more than 12 years, CA has amassed more than 10,000 partners, Kafkarkou said.
“This is the first time that we have a dedicated organization focused on our partners who offer our Internet security products. We are incredibly excited about and committed to this business and in fostering our existing and future partner relationships,” said Kafkarkou.
Another solution, CA Secure Content Manager, is a gateway protection that performs Web filtering and monitor and block threats that enter the network through messages and malicious Web sites, according to the company.
“This latest enhancement to the CA Partner Program is one more example of the ongoing improvements we are making to our program,” said Bill Lipsin, corporate senior vice president of Global Channel Sales for CA, in a statement. “Developed by our fast-growing Internet Security Business Unit, it aligns with CA’s global approach of helping to empower partners with the right solutions and programmatic elements to drive success. Our primary goal as a partner-centric company is to provide tools and products to help our partners grow their businesses.”
