WebXposure Enhances Marketing Products with Text Messaging Capabilities

WebXposure recently added text message marketing capabilities to its portfolio of online and interactive marketing tools.
 
Text messaging is a direct marketing tool, targeting the consumer himself. A business which decides to use this form of marketing first composes a short message that it would like its consumers to receive. The second step is to send the message to the consumers’ handsets.


 
According to statistics published by Visiongain (News - Alert), 94 percent of all text messages are read by their recipients. This has given rise to a huge advertising industrial segment, mobile marketing. In US and Europe, this segment is actually said to be worth approximately $255 million. This figure is also assumed to increase to more than $1 billion in the next year or so.


 
“The growth of online marketing has established a path by which small and medium size businesses are now able to go down and compete on an even level with the 100 pound gorillas,” said Derek Brown, CEO and search engine marketing guru at WebXposure, in a statement. “Text message marketing gives that market another tool to use to bring themselves to market at a price they can afford, with results they simply can't ignore.”
 
Brown decided to act upon these and other numbers, to add WebText into the list of WebXposure product offerings.
 
The advantage of this particular marketing strategy is the instant awareness that the brand creates in the minds of the consumers. The mobile handset is being harnessed as the perfect vehicle for marketing because of the widespread use of this particular device. As a matter of fact, reportedly more than 233 million consumers in the US rely heavily upon their handsets as a vital communication link.
 
“Text messaging is the new wave in marketing. More and more people are using text messaging, and now is the time to take advantage of that,” Brown said. “The best part about text message marketing is that the info you send them stays on their phone! They are sure to see it later!”
 
WebXposure now offers this particular marketing strategy to its customers, along with a great deal of package benefits that are thrown in also.
