Anakam.TFA Intros Two-factor Authentication Security Suite for SaaS Providers

Anakam.TFA, an identity management market vendor, recently introduced a new suite of software, services and support that delivers two-factor authentication for software solutions. This suite is designed specifically for software-as-a-service providers.

Cost-effective, mass scale two-factor authentication is critical to protecting the integrity of systems and revenue streams, Anakam.TFA said. This type of security eliminates unauthorized access and prevents users from sharing usernames and passwords with non-paying users.

“More than ever before the challenge for all Internet accessible applications is the implementation of user authentication without the dissemination of high-cost tokens, fobs, or software downloads,” said Anakam.TFA president and CEO Allen Camaisa, in a statement. “This is particularly important for SaaS (News - Alert) providers who have the added issue of dealing with passwords, which essentially reduce a providers market and revenues.”

The solution from Anakam.TFA address both of these challenges by delivering true multi-channel, two-factor authentication through devices users already have, such as cell phones, pagers, home phones, Web connected computers, and office phones.

“After working with a number of SaaS providers, we quickly recognized that we had to establish unique programs that map our service and product offerings to the business model of this growing market,” Anakam.TFA’s chief operating officer Scott Leftwich said in a statement. “We have introduced a pricing model that allows SaaS providers to quickly adopt, implement and begin benefiting from Anakam.”

This new software, service, and the support packages are now available for SaaS providers, whose revenues are derived from the sale of user subscriptions to hosted applications.
