 TMCnet Contributing Editor
Broadband service provider Butlernetworks this week announced its deployment of the BreezeACCESS VL platform from Alvarion ( News - Alert), Ltd. The provider is using this platform to build what it claims is the first national, wireless broadband network in Denmark.
The goal with this particular network is to provide high-quality data delivery to both small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises in the country.
“We are pleased that Butlernetworks has chosen us for bringing high-speed wireless broadband access to Denmark,” said Tzvika Friedman, president and CEO of Alvarion, in a statement.
Buttlernetworks is on a mission with this network project: provide advanced solution- rendering, fast delivery of flexible and future secure connections, and direct access to high-capacity services. Considering the fact that growth through dealing with other companies is becoming more acceptable and practicable, Buttlernetworks partnership with Alvarion is a reasonable way for the company to bring a fully branded solution to its customers.
Internet usage is becoming more and more sophisticated which has resulted in increased competition among providers, and demand for more bandwidth from customers. Buttlernetworks plans to solidify its place in the market using Alvarion’s VL system.
The BreezeACCESS VL platform is a highly-efficient platform with advanced features like OFDM non-line-of-sight operation(NLOS), extended reach, high capacity of up to 54 Mbps, encryption, QoS mechanisms and an enhanced access suite. The platform is a next-generation, IP-based wireless broadband access solution employing the 5GHz frequency band.
Making a statement about the high standards and outstanding service provided by Alvarion, Soren Stovring-Hallsson, CEO of Butlernetworks said, “Offering wireless broadband in Denmark, we needed a reliable vendor that could provide us with an already field-proven and cost-effective solution.”
