Mindjet Offers Free Add-In for Microsoft Office 2007 UsersTMCnet Assistant Editor In a bid to increase the productivity of business teams, Mindjet announced the release of a free add-in for Mindjet MindManager users recently, giving them enhanced 2-way sharing capabilities with Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 2007 users.
The release of the add-in, the Word 2007 Map Editor for Mindjet MindManager, gives business team members the ability to freely work within either application, whether they are Mindjet users or not, it is still possible to receive, edit and send Word docs to other Mindjet users.
Mindjet provides software for managing and visualizing information. The Mindjet MindManager offering provides productivity for business teams by allowing them to better collaborate and share ideas in a visual manner.
With the new add-in, information flowing between applications allows for easier collaboration and removes barriers for work teams.

With the add-in, users are also given the ability to edit and include icons, images, and other hierarchical structures for a visual representation of ideas and information.
According to a news release, "Microsoft's adoption of the new XML file format enables Mindjet to improve its Microsoft Office integration for faster exports and better information exchange with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio."
The announcement was made along with the release of Microsoft Office 2007, just last month.
