MagnaChip Semiconductor has launched its 30V N channel MOSFET series, its first power solutions product.
MagnaChip expects to start mass production in April 2008 and has said it will supply these solutions to customers worldwide.
Sang Park, Chairman and CEO of MagnaChip said, "We are delighted to announce the launch of our power solutions products. We are finding that our system level understanding of applications and strong customer relationships in Asia allow us to quickly develop and customize power management products versus other competitors in this market. These products, featuring power saving technology, are timely due to the increasing market requirements for 'green' solutions. The launch of these products is part of our overall strategy to leverage our leading analog and mixed signal technology platform to expand our market opportunity and meet more of our customers' needs."

The newly launched MOSFET product series is for lithium ion battery packs and battery modules of mobile handsets.
