Telkonet Highlights Energy Management Solutions at 'Green' Event
By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Telkonet’s ( News - Alert) executive vice president of energy management Jeff Sobieski recently presented a session at the Greentech Investor Conference. He outlined the company’s smart energy products and how they address growing demand for energy-efficient solutions.
The company’s smart energy products reduce energy costs by keeping heating and cooling buildings under control. With energy prices soaring, there is plenty of demand for such solutions.
Telkonet claims its solutions provide average energy cost savings of about 30 percent for many applications.
“In fact, many of our hospitality industry related customers are often realizing savings in excess of 30%, depending on the extremes of the outside temperature variations and the type of building construction,” Sobieski said in a statement.
The company’s solutions use sensors, coupled with thermostat controllers, to monitor factors like like room occupancy, time of day and outside temperature to limit wasteful heating and cooling practices.
