Mind Technologies is Official Reseller of Emotiv EEG Headset

The Emotiv EEG headset will now officially be resold by Mind Technologies. According to the announcement made by Mind Technologies, the company will also be selling the thought-controlled software applications, which it develops. 

The Emotiv EEG headsets are sold by Emotiv for $299. Website visitors will be able to purchase these headsets from Mind Technologies at the same price, beginning Jan. 1. The next year will also see the company increasing its marketing. A boost in the revenue from sales of both the hardware and software developed can be therefore expected for the company.

All expectations at the investor conference comprising of 77 individuals were exceeded. The conference was held on Dec. 15. In a release, Brent Fouch, CEO and president of Mind Technologies, said, "The conference call with investors and other interested parties went extremely well. We plan on holding these calls with our investors quarterly. This is an effort to open up our company and our management team to become more transparent to the investing community and other interested individuals."

Fouch added that the company realized that the investors had great ideas. The company wants to improve communication with the investors. The company also wants to expand and ensure that the investors become a part of the Mind Technologies team. Fouch added that the public-owned company is going to conduct business keeping the shareholders in mind.

Software for thought-controlled technologies is developed by Mind Technologies. Medical applications and video games that are controlled by the power of the mind are also developed by the company.

Through the power of mind, users are able to interact with the computer and other machines. A wireless headset is used by this technology. Brainwaves on both the conscious and non-conscious level are detected by this wireless headset. Computers are therefore able to interact directly with the human brain with the help of this revolutionary neural processing technology.

A set of sensors is used by the Emotiv headset to tune into electric signals and connects wirelessly to most PCs. These electric signals are produced by the brain to detect player thoughts, feelings and expressions.
