By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

Pitney Bowes, a provider of software, hardware and services that integrate physical and digital communications channels, launched Pitney Bowes Healthcare Customer Communications Management (CCM (News - Alert)), specifically built for helping healthcare insurers and payers reduce healthcare costs and maximize revenue and healthy outcome for plan members.

According to the company, Pitney Bowes Customer Communications Management (CCM) ensures that the messaging reaches its audience quickly, accurately and cost-effectively. This turnkey program helps to produce targeted on-demand messages with improved control and more precise delivery. From a single point of contact, they can integrate all the services and technology required to execute an effective communications program.

CCM for Healthcare leverages accurate data, personalized message creation and multi-channel delivery, enhances both inbound and outbound customer communication, links data and one-to- one communication software with high-volume production technologies, integrates communication with business processes across the enterprise and improves both online and offline customer service.

The company claimed that the CCM Healthcare solution easily meets today's EOB document messaging needs yet retains sufficient flexibility to absorb future volumes and with new requirements for access and delivery. It is available now from Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies.

"Pitney Bowes Healthcare CCM provides all the services and tools necessary to deliver healthcare communications to plan members and prospects, efficiently and effectively," stated Andy Roussel, director of Strategic Marketing for Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS), in a press release. "It helps payors eliminate the challenge of getting the right communication to the right member in the right channel at the right time."

Pitney Bowes CCM offers numerous benefits to healthcare payers in their communications with members. Pitney Bowes Healthcare CCM helps to design and deliver targeted communications to promote healthier behaviors such as preventive screenings and avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits, improve disease management and therapy adherence, and reduce healthcare costs.

Pitney Bowes Healthcare CCM also helps to improve compliance and reduce the cost and complexity in creating complex communications packages like Welcome Kits and Annual Notices of Change (ANOCs). Simplifies the process to create, manage and produce notices, letters and statements, reducing unique templates significantly, while providing production visibility and control.

Pitney Bowes Healthcare CCM supports agents and channel partners in growing their business through a web2marketing portal, while helping ensure brand consistency with the insurer or benefits manager.
