MSI Systems Integrators Earns UC and Security Certifications from Cisco

MSI Systems Integrators highlighted two recent achievements: certification in the Master Unified Communications (News - Alert) Specialization and Master Security Specialization categories, from Cisco.

 

With these two new designations, MSI has completed the required training and program prerequisites to be eligible for selling, deploying and supporting sophisticated Cisco (News - Alert) unified communications and security solutions.

The Master Unified Communications and Security Specializations can be achieved by resale channel partners of Cisco only after first acquiring the Advanced Unified Communications and Security Specializations.

 

After acquiring this specialization, partners have to meet stringent requirements in three departments namely technology capabilities, sales expertise and Cisco Lifecycle Services. Next, partners should also be holders of numerous Cisco and industry-standard technical certification requirements, give proof through customer references documenting their Cisco-prescribed design and deployment capabilities and also prove their infrastructural ability to support the complete menu of the Lifecycle Services.

The required training for building sales, technical and Cisco Lifecycle Services skills are provided by the Cisco Resale Channel Program. Partners’ skills are then validated through a third-party audit. Cisco’s set of resale partner certifications include Select, Premier, Silver and Gold which represent a wide range of skills across some key technologies and are also indicative of a partner’s capability to deliver integrated networking solutions.

 

Cisco resale partner specializations include four levels- SMB, Express, Advanced and Master and are reputed achievements signifying a high level of expertise in the sales, technical and service knowledge of particular technologies. These specializations are essentials which give partners like MSI access to training of comprehensive sales, technical, and lifecycle services as well as support from Cisco.
