BridgeWave Brings High-Speed Wireless to XO Communications

XO was looking to enable high-speed connectivity to customers who lacked direct fiber connectivity to its fiber network. It was in need of a network infrastructure wireless transmission product that also supported both legacy TDM voice traffic and increasing amounts of IP traffic.

The FlexPort80 links have been tested by Compliance Certification Services (CCS), a NVLAP-accredited Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test Laboratory. CCS provides compliance and test services on cutting edge wireless standards, including the ETSI (News - Alert) requirements for 70 GHz and 80 GHz wireless links. FlexPort is also purported to be the first millimeter wave system to include frequency agility based on the ECC REC 05/07 recommendations and the first tunable and channelized 80 GHz system to conform to ETSI standards.
