Ingate Systems to Host SIP Trunking Seminars at TMC ITEXPO West 2009By Jessica Kostek, TMCnet Channel Editor Ingate Systems has partnered with TMC (News - Alert) to offer "SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know" seminars at the ITEXPO West 2009. The seminars are to educate end users, resellers, distributors and systems integrators about SIP trunking guiding IP-PBX (News - Alert) vendors, SIP trunking service providers and industry thought-leaders.
Free to all ITEXPO (News - Alert) attendees, these seminars will provide a comprehensive overview of SIP trunking, and include general information panels and technical insight sessions from both service provider and enterprise perspectives, company officials said. Speakers from VOIPSA and the SIP Forum (News - Alert) will also participate.
The seminars will be held Sept. 1 to 3, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in room 502A. Speakers who have to date been confirmed include Bandwidth.com, Cbeyond, Dialogic, Digium, Intertex Data AB, Mitel NetSolutions and ShoreTel. Thought leaders from The SIP Forum and VoIP Security Alliance (News - Alert) are said to also participate.

There will also be a SIP Forum SIPconnect Compliance Workshop that will provide an overview of the SIP Forum, the SIPconnect value proposition, a "deep dive" into the most recent version of the SIPconnect technical recommendation, a step-by-step review of the SIPconnect Compliant Program application process and lessons learned from actual SIPconnect deployments.
