BT iNet Selects eIQnetworks for Managed Service OfferingsBy Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributor BT iNet Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of BT (News - Alert), has reportedly selected eIQnetworks’ SecureVue to deliver comprehensive security monitoring and reporting capabilities to its customers.
According to a company press release, SecureVue allows BT iNet to provide its customers detailed analysis across all of its managed security offerings as a value-added service. BT iNet’s customers rely on the company to provide the highest levels of protection for their corporate resources, said Graham Sutcliffe, head of products and portfolio at BT iNet. The company now has eIQnetworks (News - Alert) that provides them with a reliable and highly scalable security management solution delivering detailed analysis and flexible reporting. SecureVue’s monitoring capabilities also assure BT iNet that their reporting and compliance capabilities will grow with their security offerings. SecureVue was selected because it can power reporting services across all of BT iNet’s managed security offerings. The company is also leveraging eIQnetwork’s approach to security and compliance management. eIQnetworks compares the product with those of its competitors and says SecureVue correlates information from a variety of disparate data sources. This is a unique capability and it allows BT iNet to plan future enhanced security services and reporting that includes this information. eIQnetwork already is an established name in the managed service arena, said Jim Geary, president of eIQnetworks, in the release. He welcomed BT iNet to their Premium MSSP program and noted that they share their vision that true security management relies on more than just log data. He continued: “SecureVue’s easy-to-understand, custom reports will allow BT iNet’s customers to demonstrate how its service is working to protect their IT environments. No longer do these customers have to take it on faith that their MSSP is doing the job.” eIQnetworks was in news last week for launching the ComplianceVue Packages. Based on its SecureVue security and compliance management platform, this turnkey offering effectively addresses compliance reporting requirements. Anuradha Shukla is a contributing editor for TMCnet.
