SuperNet of Ohio Launches New Hosted VoIP Service for SMBs

Network and data center operator SuperNet of Ohio Inc. has reportedly launched a new hosted VoIP service for small to medium sized businesses called IDT, or Internet Dial Tone.


According to a press release, IDT offer customers free long distance to anywhere in the continental US with no contract required. Business-class service plans start as low as $28 a month per line.

The new service includes advanced features and functionality, including Web-based administration enabling configuration and management from any computer with a high speed connection.

"VoIP is now one of the fastest upcoming technologies out there," states Dave Staun, business development manager of SuperNet, in a release. "IDT offers big savings on phone service for small- and medium-sized businesses by combining phone and data over a single line which can reduce monthly phone costs by up to 30 percent."

SuperNet points out that its IDT VoIP service is “100 percent locally owned and hosted.” This, in turn, enables the company to provide better support to businesses using the service in Ohio. The company claims it has a team of IT professionals on site at its state-of-the-art data center that stands ready to provide quick-responses to problems.

"We want to be hands-on with our IDT customers just as we've been since 1995 when the company was started," said Dave Hegemann, president and owner of LCS, in the release "Our tech staff is based here in Cincinnati and they know our customers personally."
