To Deliver Telecom Solution Integrating Traditional And IP Telephony

Proactive Technology
Holdings Limited, a provider of
telecommunications and computer telephony solutions in Asia Pacific, and
MIND CTI Ltd., a provider of billing and
customer care solutions, announced that they have signed a
partnership
agreement to provide a turn-key business solution for service providers
wishing to offer both IP and wireline telephony.
The combined product solution of the MIND-iPhonEX Billing and Customer
Care
solution and the GlobalCall Gateway will operate with switches like the
Excel Switching platform from Lucent Technologies. The two companies
pledge
to cooperate in marketing and sales efforts of the joint product solution.

enhances MIND's position as a provider of comprehensive solutions for

will offer the market a new product solution that can be implemented
worldwide."

With the MIND-iPhonEX billing and customer care solution, Next-Gen
carriers
are able to offer pre- and post-paid services. GlobalCall Gateway provides
integrated Tandem and International Gateway switch functions, with a
variety
of revenue-generating enhanced service modules, such as pre- and post-paid
calling cards, personal number service, voice/fax mail, international
call-back, short message service, and Virtual Private Networks (VPN), etc.
The MIND-iPhonEX real-time call handling mechanism will be able to perform
the authentication, authorization and accounting for both IP and wireline
calls. By implementing the joint product solution, carriers will be able
to
meet the changing needs of the dynamic telecommunications market.
MIND-iPhonEX and GlobalCall together will enable service providers to
offer
multiple services on one platform and present subscribers with one bill
for
all the services used.
