Inet Integrates Its Flagship Diagnostic Product
With VoIP Testing Solution
Inet Technologies, Inc. announced
that the company has integrated the primary testing capabilities of its
flagship diagnostic product, Spectra, with its newest Voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) testing solution, Spectra2 MG.
These two diagnostic test tools can now reside concurrently on a
WindowsNT platform, and provide Inet's customers with a single testing
solution to address conventional SS7 and wireless signaling protocols as
well as VoIP and future technologies.
Inet's Spectra product provides robust test tools to confirm legacy
wireline and wireless applications. Spectra2 MG tests media and associated
signaling in packet-switched environments. Both software solutions are
available as stand-alone test tools on the NT platform, but can be
combined to maximize customers' use of the testing equipment and their
investment in Inet's diagnostic systems. This high-performance platform
provides developers, manufacturers and carriers with an easy-to-use test
solution that can be upgraded with future product offerings.
"The flexibility of the new diagnostic platform demonstrates the
added value that we build into our technology," said Elie Akilian,
president and chief executive officer of Inet. "With our
next-generation Windows NT-based test platform, Inet's customers can
leverage their investment in the Spectra test suite with future,
packet-based signaling protocols."
