Trillium Software Announces Siebel
Validation
The Harte-Hanks Trillium
Software division announced that the integration between its
award-winning Trillium Software System version 6 and Siebel 7 eBusiness
Applications has been successfully validated by Siebel Systems.
As a user of both Trillium Software and Siebel 7, we are looking
forward to
leveraging the Trillium Software Data Quality Connector for Siebel
eBusiness
Applications, said Jose Cuellar, manager, Sales Technology Group of
Fleet
Small Business Services. We understand that clean data is a critical
requirement for any successful e-business initiative. The strength of
these
combined solutions, we believe, will streamline our internal efforts and
processes.
With packaged applications increasing in importance, more companies
implementing them are beginning to see the value in populating those
systems
with data that are cleansed and quality checked at the point where they
enter the system, said Gartner analyst Ted Friedman. Moreover, our
research has shown that projects that begin with quality data have the
greatest chance for long-term success.
Companies use the Trillium Software System to inspect the condition of
their
data, improve data quality, enforce custom business rules, and identify
relationships between entities. As data cycle through the Trillium
Software
System, they become a stronger asset to the corporation by enabling a more
complete view of customers and their business. Siebel Systems provides
organizations with a proven set of industry-specific best practices,
customer relationship management (CRM) applications software, and business
processes, enabling corporations to sell to, market to, and serve
customers
across multiple channels and lines of business. With this validation,
customers of Siebel Systems and Trillium Software can ensure global data
quality for users of Siebel 7.
The Trillium Software Data Quality Connector, available now, allows
customers using Siebel 7 to ensure the quality of their data by making the
Trillium Software System a seamlessly integrated element of their
customer-centric e-business initiatives. With the Trillium Software Data
Quality Connector, users of Siebel 7 instantly can check quality and match
customer records online. The validation of the connector designates that
Trillium Software and Siebel Systems deliver an integrated solution that
provides the highest level of data quality for enhancing global,
customer-centric e-business solutions.
According to Len Dubois, vice president of marketing for Trillium
Software,
the partnership with Siebel Systems has been an important relationship for
his company. We are saving customers time and money by continuing our
efforts with the worlds leading supplier of e-business
applications,"
Dubois said. "Connecting into Siebel eBusiness Applications allows us
to
ensure customers that data quality is initiated when data enter an
organization from virtually anywhere in the world and prevents
inconsistencies that can occur when transactions migrate between multiple
lines of business and disparate applications.
We have been working with Trillium Software for more than a year now
and
have found that by using the Trillium Software System our customers are
able
to quickly and easily verify and standardize customer data found in Siebel
eBusiness Applications, said Michael Straub, alliance technical
director at
Siebel Systems. With our joint partnership, organizations striving to
maximize the value of their Siebel eBusiness Applications are now better
able to understand who their customers are through a single, integrated,
