FrontRange Solutions Adds Voice Recognition
Capability To GoldMine Software
FrontRange Solutions Inc.
announced that it will provide GoldMine 5.5 customer management users the
ability for mobile telephone voice access through the Sound Advantage
Natural Dialog Interface (SANDi) by Sound
Advantage.
FrontRange has agreed to sell GoldMine PLUS Voice powered by SANDi CRM
to its network of Solutions Partners for placement in their customer
sites. Sound Advantage will provide extensive sales support and tools, as
well as both direct technical support and technical support training for
FrontRange. The training programs kick off this month during the
FrontRange Solutions Partner Conference in Vail, Colo.
"After significant research, FrontRange Solutions is pleased to
align itself with Sound Advantage, which has clearly established itself as
a market leader in onsite speech recognition systems," said Eric
Shishko, vice president, corporate development and strategy for FrontRange.
"It's exciting to think of a common telephone as a GoldMine
terminal," said Shishko "Mobile workers must have access to
GoldMine, but until now laptops and PDA's were the only devices that
enabled mobile access."
GoldMine PLUS Voice lets users manage their calendars, access contact
records and manage emails using the most natural user interface, the human
voice. With one call, users can access the information in GoldMine to
schedule appointments, retrieve contact information, dial any company or
contact by voice, listen to and send emails, and much more.
Mobile sales staff, for example, can call and ask for a contact using
GoldMine PLUS Voice. GoldMine PLUS Voice can not only state the phone
number of the contact, but can also dial it as well. In addition, GoldMine
PLUS Voice can be quickly queried by voice to perform other tasks such as
check a calendar for upcoming appointments.

leadership in this market and chose SANDi CRM to be the voice of GoldMine,"

business with a mobile workforce can have easy telephone access to their
GoldMine database."
