TEC-Networks Introduces Streaming Video-Enabled
E-Mail Messaging Platform
TEC-Networks launched beta testing of Nova
NetMedia, a complete streaming text, audio and video Web-based e-mail
messaging
platform available. The company is forwarding the use of streaming media
e-mail as a cost-effective marketing tool for companies to broaden their
marketing exposure.
Nova NetMedia streams video or audio e-mail directly into recipients'
e-mail boxes without requiring the installation of a media player or
additional software. Streaming technology means the audio and/or video
file
will start playing as soon as the recipient clicks a hyperlink contained
within the e-mail. According to Ken Owen, CEO of TEC-Networks, it is at
least
100 percent faster than attaching a bandwidth-consuming audio or video
file to
an e-mail that must be downloaded before it is viewed.
"This complete Web-based messaging platform allows users to send
and
receive audio, video and text messages from any Internet connection in the
world," said Owen. "Businesses no longer can function without
e-mail, so why
not give it some personality while increasing your productivity and
marketing
exposure?"
To address the unique needs of businesses and consumers alike,
TEC-Networks is marketing two editions of Nova NetMedia. The Professional
Edition, available for $19.99 per month, per e-mail account, includes
150 streaming minutes each month. The Corporate Edition, available for a
monthly fee starting at $50, offers a custom ad showcase and WebMail
interface. Using the Corporate Edition, companies can send audio and
audio/video e-mails with their own personalized HTML interface, graphics
and
banners.
