CITEL, BroadSoft To Deliver Hosted PBX,
IP Centrex Applications To Legacy PBX Users
CITEL Technologies announced they
have partnered with BroadSoft to
deliver a better migration choice for Nortel PBX customers that require
the advanced capabilities of a next-generation Hosted PBX and IP Centrex
offering.
The companies are working together to meet increasing customer demand
for more choices in terms of new IP applications, alternative vendors, and
improved value. Together, CITEL Technologies and BroadSoft answer all of
these requirements by enabling customers to leverage their current legacy
telephone investment, while migrating to an advanced and open IP solution
with products that are interoperable across multiple vendor lines. The
CITEL Technologies and BroadSoft solution enables Nortel users to benefit
from BroadWorks Hosted PBX and IP Centrex capabilities, which can now be
delivered to the legacy telephone handsets of enterprise customers via the
CITELlink IP Handset Gateway. This partnership will enable Nortel
customers to gain access to the operational efficiencies of BroadWorks'
and benefit from a comprehensive suite of enhanced IP telephony and voice
services like voice mail, auto attendant, and personal calling features
such as selective call forwarding, simultaneous ring, and click-to-dial.
