Audium Announces Compatibility With Voxeo's Hosted Voice Centers

Audium and Voxeo Corporation announced that the latest release of Audium 2 supports deployment in Voxeo Voice Centers.

Applications built using Audium 2 can now be deployed onto Voxeo's hosted voice infrastructure platform without the need for programming. With built-in support for Voxeo, enterprises can implement high-capacity, high-quality voice applications with Audium 2 quickly and easily.

"Launching voice applications quickly and cost-effectively is very important to our business customers. Audium 2 offers a powerful set of software and tools to rapidly deploy advanced VoiceXML solutions," remarked Voxeo CEO Nancy Faigen. "We're pleased that Audium provides an easy way for businesses to leverage our Voice Centers to minimize upfront capital investment and deployment time."

Audium 2 enables a new kind of automated system that far exceeds the capabilities of today's installed base of interactive voice response (IVR) systems. By integrating with existing enterprise resources, voice applications built with Audium 2 can easily include advanced features like personalization, automatic speech recognition, and multi-language support without specialized programming. Commercially-proven Audium 2 software solutions are currently being used by customers such as Unified Dispatch, eBay, SCAN, MobileMetrics, and Odigo.

The Voxeo Voice Center platform employs best-in-class speech recognition components, standards-based carrier-class equipment, and leading call control and CTI capabilities to help companies cost-effectively provide personalized self-service to their customers, partners and employees over the telephone. Companies outsourcing to the Voxeo Voice Center platform can leverage their existing and future Web and data systems while deploying with minimal upfront capital investments.

"Support for the Voxeo Voice Centers give our customers unparalleled flexibility when deploying their voice applications," said Audium CEO Michael Bergelson, "With integrated support for industry-leading systems like Voxeo, Audium 2 gives enterprises the ability to deploy advanced automated phone systems that can rapidly adapt and change as business requirements evolve."
