Communications Solutions Expo Spring 2001 Keynote To Be Delivered By Former Vice President Al Gore

 Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) announced today that the Honorable Al Gore, former United States Vice President, has agreed to deliver the keynote address at their Communications Solutions EXPO Spring 2001, held May 23-25, 2001 at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.

Communications Solutions EXPO is one of the foremost communications technology trade shows in the world, showcasing many products and services that leverage the power of the Internet to help companies and individuals communicate more efficiently.

Mr. Gore is a well-known proponent of technology initiatives and throughout his career in public service has been credited with helping pass important technology legislation and fighting for federal funds to build what later became the Internet. His background -- which includes being credited with popularizing the phrase 'Information Superhighway' -- makes him an obvious choice to address the audience at Communications Solutions EXPO.

"Al Gore was instrumental in gaining passage of the landmark Telecommunications Act of 1996. The opportunities created by that bill for start-up telecommunications and networking companies is one of the main reasons Communications Solutions EXPO is such a necessary event in the industry each year," said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and Conference Chairman.
