Vodavi Technology Extends ACD Product Line With
Its Entry-Level B2B Call
Center Solution
Vodavi Technology Inc. introduced Discovery ACDLite, the newest
member of the Discovery ACD product family.
Users of Vodavi's STARPLUS TRIAD and infinite DVXPlus digital key
telephone systems engaged in small informal call center activities can now
experience the advantages of an ACD system at an economical price. In
addition to achieving improved employee productivity and better customer
service, Discovery ACDLite offers the ability for a single supervisor
position to log into the ACD system for real-time screens for calls in
queue.
Discovery ACDLite joins its sister product, Discovery ACDPlus, to round
out Vodavi's Discovery ACD product line. Discovery ACDLite is scheduled
for commercial availability in April 2001.
Steve Borcich, Vodavi's vice president of sales and marketing said,
"The success of our current Discovery ACDPlus product prompted us to
develop this extremely price competitive entry-level ACD system.
"After listening to our dealers and watching the overall boom in
the call center arena, we felt it was a natural step to extend the product
line because informal call centers need the same access to productivity
tools as larger centers." Borcich added, "No matter what size
call center you operate, the name of the game is who can offer the best
possible customer service."
Typical users of Vodavi's new Discovery ACDLite product include
businesses that experience a high amount of call volume with a limited
staff. Discovery ACDLite allows a single supervisor seat to oversee the
real-time activities of the call center agents and primarily monitor calls
in queue to assure calls are being routed efficiently and promptly.
The screens are customizable allowing the supervisor to monitor calls
or personnel with a single mouse click. To ensure peak efficiency, the
screens are color-coded to show the supervisor when an agent is idle or
busy. As business grows, so too will Discovery ACDLite, which can easily
be upgraded to Discovery ACDPlus and with all information retained.
Large, formal call centers which need access to a more robust feature
set such as historical report templates, support for multiple supervisors,
user configurable large screen layouts, audible/visual threshold
indicators and support for both LAN-based and direct-connected wallboard
displays turn to Vodavi's Discovery ACDPlus.
Introduced in 1999, this highly sought after product accurately
monitors agent performance and adjusts resources to handle call center
traffic.
Recently, Realestatevillage.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Homes.com
and an Internet marketing solutions provider for the real estate sector,
selected Vodavi as its preferred vendor of choice for all its call center
voice communication, CTI and ACD applications.
With eight outbound call center locations throughout California,
Realestatevillage.com has implemented a complete Vodavi communications
solution including the STARPLUS TRIAD digital key system, Digital Dispatch
voice mail, Discovery ACDPlus and PC Phone.
Mark Masley, director of operations of Realestatevillage.com commented,
"Because our business was growing exponentially, we needed a
sophisticated tool to immediately help monitor all the real-time
activities of our telemarketing agents. We evaluated the Discovery ACDPlus,
along with other manufacturer products, and chose Vodavi for its
comprehensive solution as well as price."
