Foxfire Consulting Announces Post-Implementation
Wellness Assessment Service To Enhance OSS Performance
Foxfire Consulting L.L.C.
announced the launch of
Rx pOSSitive, a service offering utilizing Foxfires Rx methodology to
address the post-implementation needs of clients OSS environments. The
new service offers telecommunications operators and service providers
customized wellness assessments and recommendations for optimizing
existing OSS systems, many of which are troubled by inefficient
combinations of multiple technologies and disparate processes.
Companies today have made substantial investments in OSS software,
said Jerry Batt, Foxfire CEO. Now theyre looking for the return on
that investment. Rx pOSSitive teams Foxfire consultants and implementation
specialists with leading OSS software providers to develop customized
solutions to clients OSS performance problems.
In a short period of time, Batt continued, Foxfire can
implement improvements and establish measures of success specific to a
particular client, which can be used going forward to monitor, change or
enhance system and process performance,
The Foxfire Rx pOSSitive assessment methodology identifies best
practices in business processes surrounding the functionality and
performance of OSS systems in order to enhance the effectiveness and
professional contribution of clients organizations. The Foxfire service
also focuses on identifying for clients the most efficient configurations
of technical hardware, software and network components.
Targeting seven major components of the operational environment and
associated processes, Foxfires assessment offers a multi-dimensional
view of organizational productivity and efficiency. Often this scrutiny
prompts clients to prioritize recommendations, develop and implement
improvement plans, and measure results in a meaningful and relevant way.
The wellness of their OSS programs is a top concern for
telecommunications CEOs today, said Batt. Industry information
indicates that the majority of CLECs that fail do so because they couldnt
make efficient use of information and technology across the enterprise. By
fine-tuning their OSS environment, companies can go a long way towards
streamlining operations, driving down costs and improving productivity on
a regular and sustained basis.
Foxfire anticipates teaming with several major industry software
providers to make Rx pOSSitive services available to clients and users of
those products. According to Batt, its a win-win-win situation.
Software manufacturers see their products used more effectively, users
realize the full power of seamlessly integrated OSS systems, and we at
Foxfire have the opportunity to do what we do best - providing
comprehensive information technology counsel and services to the
telecommunications industry.
