TRENDnet, a global provider of networking solutions to small and medium size business and home users, has reportedly unveiled ProView Megapixel PoE Internet Camera, model TV-IP522P.

 

The new ProView Megapixel PoE Internet Camera holds the capability to transfer real-time video over the Internet at up to 1280 x 960 SXVGA resolution. It comes with Samba client support, motion detection recording, e-mail alerts, scheduled recording sessions, H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG image compression, two-way audio, input/output ports, a removable CS mount lens, digital zoom, four video profiles, and a built-in SD card slot to store video directly to a memory card.

 

This new device can manage up to four video profiles and record megapixel H.264 quality video while simultaneously streaming content to a compatible 3GPP mobile phone. It receives power and data through a single Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet technology, with the need for installation.

 

Also, the camera's extruded aluminium housing has top and bottom mounting points and it comes with a wall/ceiling mounting kit.
