ManageEngine Announces the Latest Business Service Management Suite

ManageEngine, a provider of enterprise IT management software solutions, announced the general availability of ManageEngine IT360 – an integrated business service management solution.



 
The company designed ManageEngine (News - Alert) IT360 based on the customer feedback it received during the beta trial. Officials say ManageEngine IT360 illustrates the way in which the performance of servers, applications, network segments, and other such components, is impacting business operations.
 
ManageEngine IT360 features a Business Dashboard interface that is an integrated suite of network, systems and applications management software. The dashboard displays the components that make up an organization's network and the various business services those components support.
 
The dashboard can be customized according to the job functions with the level of details displayed suitable for each role, from IT administrator to CIO.
 
Officials say that ManageEngine IT360's Business Dashboard provides IT administrators with a single, central management console through which the health, availability and performance of today's heterogeneous computing environments can be monitored.
 
The system supports monitoring of Windows, Linux and UNIX file servers, application servers; LAN and WAN segments; ERP systems; databases; mail servers; Java transactions; and other Web-based services.
 
ManageEngine IT360 also includes an integrated ITIL ready Service Desk designed to reduce the complexity of workflows in production and making it easier for IT administrators to run effective operations. Important features of Service Desk include automated trouble ticketing, complete with incident management, problem management, change management, and a knowledge base. Ticket status is linked with individual business services in the individual dashboards.
 
According to Girish Mathrubootham, vice president, ManageEngine, the ManageEngine IT360 takes business service management to the masses.
 
“People want to know what is happening in their IT department and how that is affecting the business. But they don't want to spend a fortune or invest months implementing a solution that gives them the insight they're looking for,” he said. “We believe we have addressed the market's technology needs and budget concerns with this launch.”
In June, ManageEngine announced an update to its Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) quality monitoring solution, VQManager, TMCnet reported. The solution monitors any VoIP equipment that supports SIP, H.323, Cisco (News - Alert) SCCP (Skinny) and RTP/RTCP. It also helps in troubleshooting VoIP calls for failures and quality deterioration.
