Capitalizing on growing convergence between entertainment and communications, AT&T (News - Alert) Inc has partnered with Napster to provide its customers free, unlimited access to more than 3 million songs via Napster To Go, valid for one year beginning April 1.
AT&T Subscribers will save $180 since the monthly Napster To Go subscription is waived for the first year. Moreover, it enables them to customize their playlists on personal computers and transfer their favorite songs to compatible mobile and music devices.
In a news release, AT&T Consumer chief marketing officer Rick Welday stated, "By tying Napster To Go to AT&T's robust communications network, we're turning up the volume nationwide on both consumer value and added convenience. Merging communications with entertainment - in this case, linking Napster To Go's rich library of music to our wireless and broadband services-- again shows that we are committed to delivering enhanced content across key screens both at home and on the go."
This promo is available nationwide to all qualifying new or existing AT&T wireless customers within the company’s 22-state traditional service footprints with qualifying home phone, wireless, and broadband triple-pack bundles.
For interested subscribers not located within the local service territory, they must avail a two-year wireless agreement including purchase of Samsung’s (News - Alert) SYNC phone or Samsung’s BlackJack phone with qualifying data plan plus a Music Kit/Card.
