Windows Live Messenger is an easy-to-use consumer instant messaging (IM) service that helps people connect with others in real time as well as express themselves.

 

According to the news release, users of the conference calling plug-in will get a conference bridge number as well as participant codes for use by up to 500 participants simultaneously. Other services available through the conferencing activity include standard call management (volume control, muting, participant announcing, conference locking and recording) and sophisticated moderator features for Web-based on-demand call control.

 

With conferencing activity, users of Windows Live Messenger will be able to enhance their instant messaging (IM) experience and connect simultaneously through voice conferencing with their network of friends, family and colleagues.
