By Shireen Dee, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Screaming Bee has announced that the company released a new product into the market that can alter voices.

The new product is being retailed under the name MorphVOX Pro Voice Changer 4.0 and is designed is to alter the sound of a voice and is especially targeted at the gaming and entertainment industry, where animation and voices play an important role.

“MorphVOX Pro again sets the standards for voice-changing software,” said Mark Ramirez, chief executive officer (CEO), Screaming Bee. “The new user interface will greatly improve productivity through ease-of-use and better accessibility. We've also added an assortment of features such as extended file-format support, easy management of voices, and the ability to add professional-grade plug-ins to the application.”

The latest version of MorphVOX, version 4.0, includes new features like an extended file format support, plug-in architecture, and a professional user interface.

Also, this version includes a new user interface that has been completely revamped from the original to keep accessibility a priority.

There is also a significant improvement in the ability to handle more file formats than previously possible such as Wave (.wav), Ogg Vorbis (.ogg), MP3 (.mp3), and Windows Media Formats (.wma).

The software can cut down significantly on time and money by enhancing or creating multiple voices from existing stock audio or a single voice talent.
