Fujitsu Computer Systems, the company which offers a wide range of enterprise hardware and software products and services, unveiled the availability of the 13.3-inch.
Widescreen, LifeBook T5010 and LifeBook T1010 convertible tablet PCs equipped with the next-generation Intel ( News - Alert) Centrino 2 processor technology.
"Mobile users want larger screens to view more information, but have a desire to minimize the associated weight and size creep – and this is exactly what the LifeBook T5010 and LifeBook T1010 convertible notebooks deliver," said Paul Moore, senior director of mobile product management, Fujitsu Computer Systems.
Convertible Tablet PCs are gaining great demand these days as they act as an alternative to using a laptop or PDA. It has a conventional keyboard and a touch screen andoffers both portability and power to all those mobile workforce sections.
The company stated that, among the lightest 13.3-inch display convertibles on the market, the new tablet PCs are designed for on-the-go mobile users who require the flexibility of a tablet for note-taking or navigating through forms-based applications, along with the traditional keyboard input of a notebook computer.
The 4.5-pound LifeBook T5010 convertible tablet PC comes with a 13.3-inch widescreen display, built-in modular bay, integrated wireless access, and the latest Intel Centrino 2 Processor ( News - Alert) Technology with vPro technology, offering security and remote manageability on a chip. LifeBook T1010 tablet PC displays the same performance and many of the same features as the LifeBook T5010 tablet PC, but without the high-end security features.
"Whether for a student taking notes in class, a healthcare provider making rounds, or a salesperson constantly on the road, we have a Fujitsu convertible tablet PC for every price point and computing requirement” Moore added.
