BROADBAND Taiwan 2008 Welcomes the Visitors

An extensive array of companies is going to arrive at BROADBAND Taiwan 2008 to be held this October 7-11, 2008 at the NANGANG Exhibition Hall, which has created quite a buzz in the industry. A huge number of audiences will be able to see the hottest trends in the field and check out the Smartphone Pavilion, Optical Fiber Pavilion, Optical Era Pavilion, and the 2008 Taipei Summit in the show.



 
BROADBAND Taiwan 2008 will take place along with 2008 TAIPEI SUMMIT at the recently opened NANGANG Exhibition Hall. WiMAX will be the major center of attraction this year. The event is expected to be attended by domestic and foreign system operators, telecommunication research institutes, industry trade unions and associations, company leaders, and visitors from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
 
The foreign buyers who want to check a reliable exchange platform for telecom solutions with the latest broadband technology for South-East Asia will find it a good place for them.
 
Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), will also hold the Taipei International Electronics Show and the Taipei International RFID Application Show along with the Broadband Taiwan 2008 with an aim to display Taiwan’s abilities in catering to the needs of international buyers in the field of telecommunications. A huge number of visitors will be making their presence at these three exhibitions, with 1,600 exhibitors and 2,500 booths.
 
BROADBAND Taiwan is a major telecommunications exhibition held in Taiwan, focusing upon telecommunication devices, components, software applications, services, testing, and certifications. It provides a platform for display for Taiwan’s telecommunication industry chain, and offers exclusive pavilions to popular products such as WiMAX and optical fiber, The presence of big industry players like Agilent Technologies (News - Alert), Rohde & Schwarz, Microelectronics Technology, Universal Scientific Industrial, Chunghwa Telecom, and Zyxel Communications will make sure the show proves to be a display window of Taiwan’s industrial development capabilities to the world.
 
TAITRA, the organizer of the show has also deployed international media outlets and exhibitions for the promotion of the event and has driven a global media campaign to make it a success. It had also organized promo-conferences at both the Consumer Electronics Show (CES (News - Alert)) and CEBIT (Centrum der Büro- und Informationstechnik - Centre of Office and Information technology), and press announcements have covered the trade media. Apart from it, TAITRA has plugged in over fifty overseas offices in Europe, U.S., Asia, and Australia to ensure presence of known buyers from around the world who will be representing major global markets at the meetings.
 
Taiwan has a trillion dollar telecom industry, and has the largest production output of WLAN, xDSL CPE, SOHO Router, Cable CPE, and Ethernet LAN switches the world over. The country is on the way to establish international client relationships in a big number in the industry circuit and make a better name for itself for its technology.
