Kingston Technology Company’s HyperX 1800MHz DDR3 memory has been certified under the Intel ( News - Alert) Extreme Memory Profile (Intel XMP) validation program. The certification allows Kingston to offer PC-builders and gaming enthusiasts more memory options and tuning flexibility when constructing high-performance systems.
Kingston’s HyperX 1800MHz 2GB XMP memory kits join the company’s Intel XMP-validated Kingston 1625MHz and 1375MHz DDR3 HyperX memory, officials say.
Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager at Kingston, said that customers building or upgrading Intel XMP-ready systems now have an 1800MHz HyperX XMP memory option to gain higher performance in their gaming and content creation systems.
A large number of Kingston’s motherboard partners – including ASUS, MSI ( News - Alert) and Gigabyte – have released XMP-ready offerings that can take immediate advantage of HyperX XMP-certified memory on current X38 and X48 platforms. Tekunoff officials said that the company also expects this to be true for the soon to be released P45 chipsets.
Kingston HyperX modules – designated with an ‘X’ at the end of the part number – when paired with select Intel X38/X48 series-based motherboards, can increase overall system performance, according to the company. The XMP profile is ideal for both the novice and experienced overclocker, allowing for easy overclocking selection through predefined profiles in the BIOS or manual adjustment of Kingston HyperX XMP modules’ frequency and timings, according to the company.
The unique Kingston HyperX comes with a lifetime warranty and free 24/7 technical support.
Kingston Technology Company, Inc. is an independent manufacturer of memory products. The company designs, manufactures and distributes memory products for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and Flash memory products for PDAs, mobile phones, digital cameras, and MP3 players.
The company also announced today that they’re expanding their line of USB Flash drives. Kingston Technology Company has reportedly introduced the DataTraveler HyperX (DT HyperX) model to the Middle East. The DT HyperX is designed for ultra-fast read/write speeds and is available in capacities up to 8GB. The new release comes with an additional free 10 day World of Warcraft trial.
