Roper Mobile Technology announced the launch of the much-awaited Duros Rugged Tablet PC, which is a fourth generation, powerful Windows XP-based tablet PC.
The best feature of Duros Rugged Tablet PC is that it is sealed to IP-65 levels- for dust and water ingress and manufactured according to MILSPEC 810F specifications.

Duros Rugged Tablet PC is built in such a way that it can be used anywhere. It is equipped with an 8.4-inch brilliant sunlight viewable, SVGA resistive touch screen and an AMD Geode LX 800 Processor ( News - Alert) or Intel Celeron M 1.0 GHz. It incorporates 1 GB memory and up to 120GB storage in which 64GB accounts to solid-state hard-drive. It features hot swappable battery which diminishes downtime and extends battery life.
Duros Rugged Tablet PC is also equipped with integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, GPRS , EDGE, UMTS and optional built-in GPS for flexible communication. They can be used for extremely remote or harsh field applications, such as mining, construction, utilities, public safety or the military.
