Corel Corporation has announced an expansion of its existing relationship with Canon whereby Corel provides Made for Canon versions of its award-winning Ulead DVD MovieFactory and Corel WinDVD software for bundling with Canon's HG10 and HR10 AVCHD camcorders.
Corel is a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software with more than 100 million users worldwide. The Company's product portfolio includes some of the world's most popular and widely recognized software brands including CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, Corel Paint Shop Pro, Corel Painter, Corel DESIGNER, Corel WordPerfect Office, WinZip and iGrafx.
In 2006, Corel acquired InterVideo ( News - Alert), makers of WinDVD, and Ulead, a developer of video, imaging and DVD authoring software.
Canon HG10 and HR10 customers can now get the latest tools for AVCHD authoring, AVC video editing as well as advanced conversion, backup/copy and playback features with Corel's Ulead DVD MovieFactory and Corel WinDVD. People want their videos to look like the movies they see in the theater and on HDTV. By combining Canon's AVCHD camcorders with Corel's software suite, we are making it easy for users of all skill levels to create professional looking, high-definition videos.”
Both Canon HG10 and HR10 AVCHD camcorders are equipped with Corel's software suite compatible with Microsoft ( News - Alert) Windows XP and Windows Vista.
