ArcSoft to Demonstrate Multimedia Technologies at CES

ArcSoft, Inc., a software developer of multimedia technologies, has announced it will be demonstrating some of its multimedia solutions at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES (News - Alert)) to be held in Las Vegas between January 7-10.




Michael Downs, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at ArcSoft said in a news release, “We’re very pleased to be showcasing several of our high-definition video solutions, which are among the best performing in the industry.”

“All our multimedia solutions showcase PC and Mac software for the latest in high-definition video formats, digital cameras, printers, plus embedded technologies for portable hardware such as mobile phones, PDAs, GPS navigational devices and Portable Media Players,” added Downs.

ArcSoft’s multimedia solutions to be demonstrated at CES include ArcSoft TotalMedia Mobile, ArcSoft Embedded Imaging Technologies and ArcSoft Print Creations and others.

ArcSoft TotalMedia Mobile provides portable device, OEM/ODM manufacturers several multimedia solutions like optimized codecs and engines and fully integrated applications for advanced user interfaces. The solution allows photo or video organizing, viewing, editing, GEO tagging and advanced capture technologies for mobile phones, PDAs and other portable devices.

ArcSoft TotalMedia is a suite of software programs which allow users to play commercial movie discs, capture, manage, edit and share high-definition video, photos, music and documents using Blu-ray discs (BDs), HD DVDs, AVCHDs, DVDs and CDs.

Also, the ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre, available as a stand-alone, allows the playing back of all video disk formats like BD-ROM, BD-AV, AVCHD, HD DVD, DVD-Video and VCD.

ArcSoft Embedded Imaging Technologies which can be used in digital cameras, camera phones and printers help users to manage, process and print digital images excluding the necessity of transferring the pictures to a PC.

And, print project software, ArcSoft Print Creations Applications Suite, makes available professionally designed templates from greeting cards, calendars and other exhibits which allow addition of photos and text. The print job can be done anywhere or the project can be shared electronically.
 
ArcSoft PhotoStudio Darkroom also offers non-destructive image processing of RAW, JPEG and TIFF image files.
