Cox ( News - Alert) Communications has announced that consumers will now be able to access its selection of phone, video, and Internet services in the four Wal-Mart outlets in Northern Virginia. The new arrangement should prove convenient for millions who visit the chain of supermarkets across the nation everyday, enhancing their overall holiday shopping experience. And this convenience will not end with the season as consumers can continue to enjoy it all year through.
Branded Wal-Mart “Connection Centers” are manned with trained home electronics employees, who can guide customers in making the right home entertainment and communications purchases, from high-definition televisions to broadband Internet to home telephone service.
“Value is a key factor in consumer buying decisions. By bringing Cox services to Wal-Mart locations, Wal-Mart shoppers can quickly and easily bundle Cox’s telephone, video and Internet services into an affordable solution for all of their communications and entertainment needs,” said Mark Snow, Cox’s vice president of marketing. “We want to make it easy for customers to do business with us, and are excited to bring our services to Wal-Mart customers.”
Customers can also choose a service provider on-site to instantly realize the full experience of their purchase at home.
Throughout the U.S, Cox services are now present in more than 200 Wal-Mart outlets. With more than six million residential and commercial customers, Cox Communications is a among the top broadband communications and entertainment services providers in the nation.
