Intel’s NetStructure T1/E1-IP Media Gateway is a turnkey appliance that provides a solution for merging traditional PSTNs with IP networks.

This innovative gateway helps to preserve telecom investments by connecting IP endpoints to circuit switched networks and helps customers maintain PBX operations in new VoIP environments.

The gateway has the ability to provide enhanced caller experiences for VoIP users with services like call transfer, call forwarding, and call holding as well as a message waiting indicator and Caller ID.

Available as a plug-and-play solution, the installation and maintenance is quick and easy and ownership costs remain low. This is especially ideal for small and medium sized enterprise businesses and for service providers who offer hosted IP-PBX, IP Centrex and enhanced messaging services.
