CommuniGate Systems’ CommuniGate Pro SIP Farm is a patent-pending technology for clustering VoIP for 99.999 percent uptime, redundancy and scalability.
SIP Farm is offered as an optional add-on to the award winning CommuniGate Pro All Active Dynamic Cluster for messaging, collaboration, IM, VoIP and SIP based applications. This multi-server configuration distributes the traffic and processing load for faster response times and provides automatic server redundancy.
SIP Farm Specialization allows for a subset of all Dynamic Cluster members to be allocated as part of the SIP Farm. This technique is used to protect the Quality of Service (QOS) of voice and real-time requirements by separating the email traffic from the SIP/RTP traffic, while continuing to maintain the single-system image of the Dynamic Cluster with consolidated identity management.
The key difference of the CommuniGate Cluster architecture is an Active-Active application cluster solution, providing massive scalability possibilities, with redundancy and because the technology is built in, the solution does not require any third party HA software or database.
