The UNIVERGE SV7000 MPS (Multiple Purpose System) fuses existing NEC technologies with dynamic advancements in hardware and software to deliver a product that addresses the needs of customers looking for a flexible IP-based communications platform.
Based on the UNIVERGE architecture, the MPS is targeted toward the small-to-medium business marketplace.
The SV7000 serves a variety of capacities, including single stand-alone system or small end office in a network, High Density Media Converter/Media Gateway, controlled by an SV7000, SV7000 MPS or UNIVERGE NEAX2400 IPX which supports Digital/Analog Trunks and Analog stations and Survivable Remote Media Gateway Controller (SR-MGC).
The UNIVERGE SV7000 MPS provides over 440 service features that enhance productivity, reduce operating costs, and improve communications efficiently. Innovative hardware and software design allows the UNIVERGE SV7000 MPS to serve efficiently and grow incrementally over its entire size spectrum, ranging from 50 ports to 1,000 ports. Additionally, the SV7000 MPS’s Linux-based operating system is provided on a single CPU blade, allowing traditional telephony feature support as well as NEC Extended SIP and Standard SIP support.
