Esnatech’s Telephony Office-LinX platform version 6.5 provides enterprises with enhanced access and control over communications. Through features such as multilingual speech-enabled auto attendant, voice-mail, text-to-speech, IP fax mail and wireless device support, the Telephony Office-LinX delivers tools to enable real-time communications to facilitate an organization’s business process.
Fully supporting both IP and TDM environments, the Telephony Office-LinX server is designed to interface with a range of voice-mail systems (including Octel) using industry standard networking protocols (VPIM and AMIS) and enterprise class email platforms such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus notes and Novell Groupwise.
The new version integrates GAO research’s fax libraries into the Telephony Office-LinX platform, as well as a host of other agent productivity tools. This enables Esnatech to deliver a complete media and messaging solution to its customers, eliminating the need for dedicated hardware and dramatically lowering the cost to deploy complete unified communication solutions to enterprise customers.
Version 6.5 introduces the following new features and capabilities:
• Integrated SoftFax Module - This embeds fax libraries directly into the Telephony Office-LinX software, eliminating any need for dedicated fax hardware and dramatically lowering the cost of deploying a integrated fax solution. All fax traffic is digitally processed and managed on the IP network, making paper manual transmissions a thing of the past.
• Agent Logging Service - This enables a supervisor to designate users extensions as logging points. This means that any calls directed to agents will be recorded and stored in digital format. Supervisors can designate where the recorded calls should be logged and can even define transmission rules like e-mail broadcast to a list of people (supervisor, legal personnel, HR resource, etc), all at the same time. This feature will operate with internal and tele-workers linked to the office system through the auto attendant.
• Windows XP Support - With price pressures for small business solutions, Esnatech has verified compatibility for its Unified Communications platform to operate on a workstation version of Windows XP. For organizations with less then 75 users, XP is a great platform by which to deliver the Telephony Office-LinX solution.
• Extended Presence Management Solution for Multi-Tenanting (department) Environments - This enables users of UC Client manager “LINK” software to view the presence and status of other employees across the organization. This IP integrated solution provides even remote and off-site users with immediate knowledge of co-worker status. The Link tool enables users to send text messaging via the IP or SMS network, integrating both online and offline users into the office presence management network.
